IMPORTANT!!!

The run course is ONLY marked with cones and arrow signs stuck in those cones, NOT PAINTED ARROWS!!! There are a lot of cross country races at Larry & Penny Park and they paint their arrows all over the place. IGNORE ALL PAINTED ARROWS as NONE of them point the right direction for us!

Also, DO NOT FOLLOW OTHER RUNNERS! Many people exercise in Larry & Penny Park and will not be running on our course and into the Zoo. Do not assume that another runner is in the race or going the right direction.

Cones are placed where you can see the next cone and you just need to keep following the cones. If you can see more than 100 feet ahead and do not see a cone, then you are not going the right way!
